Sea Life Konstanz in Constance, Germany, presents a fascinating underwater world contained in over 40 freshwater and saltwater aquariums holding a total of 660,000 liters of water. The highlight of the exhibition is the 26-ft-long acrylic tunnel in the middle of the Red Sea aquarium where black tip reef sharks, morays and tortoises swim over your head.
Since April 2010, there has also been an Antarctic connection at Sea Life Konstanz. At the new penguin facility, you can experience Gentoo penguins up close.

At the Technorama, the only science center in Switzerland, you can use all five senses to delve into natural and technological phenomena, and even discover some of their secrets. The exhibits are life-size, and the over 500 stations allow you to experiment with the real thing. The instructions at the stations are given in different languages, although the commentaries to the special shows are in German only.

The mountain affords an impressive panoramic view of the city, the lake and the Alps.
The Uetliberg is particularly popular in November, as its summit is often above the blanket of fog that can cover the city at this time of year. In the winter, the hiking trails to the summit are converted into sledding runs.
In summer, there’s plenty to discover on well-marked hiking routes, a mountain bike route, and on the Planet Trail. This hour-and-a-half to two-hour walk from Uetliberg to Felsenegg (Adliswil) takes you on a fascinating tour through a model of our solar system.
The mountain affords an impressive panoramic view of the city, the lake and the Alps.

- The varied Denzlerweg leads almost straight up from Albisguetli (last stop on the number 13 tram line) to the summit.
- Laternenweg also leads from Albisguetli slightly further westwards up to the ridge.
- The Hohensteinweg leads up from Triemli (last stop on the number 14 tram line) over a shoulder of the mountain and is especially popular in the winter as a sledging run.
- A woodland path leads up from Uitikon-Waldegg (car park) to the summit. This path has the smallest incline.
There is also a mountain bike route that begins at the television tower and takes bikers over 3.5 km and a difference in altitude of 350 m down to the Triemli SZU station.
